NETWORK TURKEY IS AN INDEPENDENT NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROMOTES INFORMED AND OBJECTIVE DISCUSSION ON TURKEY BY BRINGING THE ACADEMIC COMMUNITY TOGETHER WITH POLICY MAKERS, CIVIL SOCIETY AND THE WIDER PUBLIC.
Fellowships will be available to outstanding academics, journalists, and professionals with significant work experience in one of two thematic areas: EU/German-Turkish relations and Climate change. The deadline for applications is April 3, 2017. The 2017/18 fellowship begins on September 4, 2017.
On Dember 1-2, 2016, the Centre for International Studies at Sciences Po, together with the Consortium of European Symposia on Turkey (CEST), convened this symposium with the aim to discuss,in comparative perspective, the dynamics, effects and modes of "politics from below" in Turkey.
On October 1-3, 2015 the University of Graz and the Consortium of European Symposia on Turkey (CEST), co-organized the inaugural Symposium on Turkey which dealt with: Populism, majoritarianism and competitive authoritarianism.
